The AquaGuard Cation Exchange Water Softener Cartridge is designed to remove calcium and magnesium hardness in water using specialised ion exchange resin.
As water passes through the cartridge, the resin captures hardness minerals that contribute to scale and hard-water deposits. This helps protect compatible filtration equipment, reverse osmosis membranes, appliances and other water-using equipment.
The larger 10" x 4.5" cartridge contains more softening media than the standard 10" x 2.5" version, providing greater treatment capacity for higher-volume applications.
