Its mixed bed media combines cation and anion exchange resins, allowing the cartridge to capture both positively and negatively charged dissolved ions. This produces low-mineral, deionised water for applications requiring a high level of water purity.

The larger 10" x 4.5" cartridge contains more treatment media than the standard 10" x 2.5" model, providing greater treatment capacity for higher-volume applications.
